OSHA Introduces Prevention Videos (v-tools)
December 14, 2011 - Every year in the U.S. more than 800 construction workers die and nearly 137,000 are seriously injured while on the job. Construction workers engage in many activities that may expose them to serious hazards, such as falling from rooftops, unguarded machinery, being struck by heavy construction equipment, electrocutions, silica dust, and asbestos.  To assist safety managers and trainers, OSHA has developed clear, concise animations to demonstrate the hazards on a jobsite.  Falls, Sprains & Strains, and Soil Classification are just a few of the available videos.  Click here for more information.
